Police report multiple car break-ins: Brunswick Police Blotter
Break-ins, Ashleigh Drive/Junior Parkway
Police reported multiple vehicle break-ins overnight Oct.
30 on Ashleigh Drive and Junior Parkway. No items were reported stolen in the Ashleigh Drive incidents and £76 cash was reported stolen from a car in the Junior Parkway incident. Police were provided video surveillance footage of the latter incident but there were still no suspects the time of the report.
Theft, Pearl Road
Management at Sleepy Hollow Auto Care reported a catalytic converter stolen from a customer’s vehicle overnight Nov.
1-2. The vehicle was reportedly parked in the back-parking lot and was last seen at 6 p.m. Nov.
Traffic crash/drunken driver, Interstate 71
Police responded to a two-car crash on Interstate 71 at 7:44 p.m. Oct.
28. The driver of a Chevrolet Malibu rear-ended a Toyota Rav4 and was cited for impaired driving.
He reportedly appeared intoxicated, admitted to drinking alcohol a half hour before the crash and failed field sobriety and breath tests.
Drugs, Parschen Road
A driver was pulled over on multiple equipment violations at 11:10 p.m. Oct.
30 and found with marijuana inside his car. He was cited for the illegal window tint, operating a motor vehicle with blue headlights and possession of marijuana into the Brunswick City Mayor’s Court.
Property damage, Nationwide Parkway
A mailbox at a business was reported pried open overnight Oct.
31 and discovered Nov.
There were no known suspects at the time of the report.
